Our entry level program aimed at 9-11 year olds (school years 5+6). These are mixed sessions working on lifting technique/bodyweight exercises, speed with an emphasis on coordination/timing/technique and hand eye coordination/core skill/contact body position.
The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment to keep participants engaged.

Our ‘Build’ program is aimed at 11-14 year olds (school years 7-9). This program is where we start expecting a lot more from our athletes in terms of the ‘TURN UP, WORK HARD + LISTEN’ ethos of Iron Athlete.
The program is focused on getting the participants able to work at a standard where they will be able to have a positive impact in their sporting performance,
Working on strength & conditioning, contact/wrestle/core skill, speed/agility/change of direction.
Although we still want the participants to enjoy the sessions, this program shifts towards performance.

Our prepare program is aimed at any Rugby League players that may have missed out on a scholarship program.
We have all either worked or been through a scholarship program so understand what scholarship training sessions add to a young Rugby League players training. This program will not only replace, but exceed the quality and detail delivered in most scholarship programs.
We now shift the mentality towards testing and defining minimum standards that we expect our athletes to hit.
We will hold a higher standard than would be expected at most scholarships as that will give our athletes the best chance to succeed and hopefully gain a place at one of the Rugby League academy programs.
